There were 15 people from Christ Lutheran that headed to Sioux Falls on Monday morning, August 9, 2010 to help with the painting project. Click here to see pictures from their day. We’re looking at possibly returning to do more painting in September. If this is something that you might be interested in, contact the church office.
Brushes of Hope is a service opportunity in Sioux Falls. Habitat for Humanity and 96.5fm are matching volunteer groups with people who are not physically and/or financially able to paint their home. All paint and materials will be provided by Norberg Paints. Tools, a trailer and a work vehicle will be provided by Sioux Falls Habitat for Humanity. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by the Chapel Lounge. Anyone over 14 is welcome to help with the project. Click here to read more.
Flamingos

Youth Flamingo Fundraiser – For a $20 donation the Christ Lutheran Youth will put a flock of flamingos in someone’s yard. The flock will stay in their yard until someone else requests an invasion or 48 hours. The flock can be placed in any person’s yard in the community, including neighboring communities of Avoca, Fulda, Currie, Iona, Hadley, and Lake Shetek Neighborhood.
