The Worship and Evangelism Ministry Board seeks to have as many members of Christ Lutheran involved in the activities of our church and worship time as possible. To that end, we are busy throughout the year scheduling worship assistants. We schedule people to serve as greeters, ushers, lectors, Communion servers, and acolytes, and line up people to bake Communion bread, videotape our services, and to bring the DVD to City Hall for broadcast on cable TV. We work off a six-month schedule. The Worship and Evangelism Board also helps with coordination of special services such as during the season of Lent, Holy Week, Christmas, and Confirmation. We work to be alert to ways in which our worship services can be more meaningful for all members and guests at Christ Lutheran.
